Survive. Revive. Thrive.
Empowering journeys through life’s challenges with support and community engagement.
Able Through Life
Welcome to Able Through Life.
I am Ruth Tindugan, dedicated to helping others navigate life’s challenges by offering support and encouragement delved from personal experiences dealing with cancer, divorce, disability and death of a child. As a woman created in the image of God, I will share thoughts of faith and inspiration through stories, essays, and poems. We enrich our lives by knowing the wisdom and knowledge of others, so I also invite you to share your journey with me through your comments and feedback.
I’m glad you’re here.

Surviving, reviving, thriving.
One day, a crisis happens. And we find ourselves swimming against the current.
Struggling to stay afloat. Barely making it through another day.
Survival is a tough struggle.
Then our foot hits a rock, and we thrust upward.
We gulp the air of grace coming from somewhere.
Maybe a reprieve. Another chance. A solution. An encouragement.
From anyone. From Someone.
We start walking on dry ground. Revival is starting over.
Then things come together, like it all pans out.
The distant roar of the sea is behind us.
We find an empty lot and build something on it.
We start blooming again
With purpose, meaning, and adventure.
We’re thriving. Life is good again.
Then, a crisis happens and we’re back to …
Surviving, reviving, and thriving.
It’s the cycle of life.
Let’s share our journey.
